This run starts at Siyob Market, one of the most famous markets in Uzbekistan, before leading you through the remains of the ancient city of Afrasiyab. You will then follow the Siyob Canal, enjoying a peaceful stretch of the route. Near the Khoja Doniyor Mausoleum, a short photo stop is scheduled before continuing toward the Afrosiyob Museum, home to the city’s famous mural paintings.
Passing close to the Shah-i-Zinda Necropolis, your guide runner will share insights into the history of this iconic site. If you choose a late afternoon run, you’ll have the chance to watch the sun set over the turquoise domes of the necropolis, a moment to cherish for a lifetime.
The route continues toward the Bibi-Khanum Mosque, built in the 15th century, where you’ll enjoy an impressive view of its monumental gate.
Running along the vibrant pedestrian street, you’ll gradually make your way to the iconic Registan Square, this exceptional historical setting is where your run will conclude.
Please note this “Just” run is not a training session, but an actual run designed to combine running with cultural exploration. Throughout the run, your guide runner will share stories about the city, its history, landmarks and the architectural styles you encounter along the way.
