Welcome to Uzbekistan! Our team will welcome you at Tashkent International Airport upon your arrival. After a moment of rest, you will start exploring the Uzbek capital and visit the historical sites of the city.

You will also walk with our guide in Tashkent metro, famous for its beautifully decorated stations. At the end of the day, we will distribute your races numbers and you will have a free moment at the hotel to check the final preparations. Dinner and overnight in town.

Departure by bus towards the mountains of Zaamin in the morning. Our journey will cross agricultural areas as well as the Syr-Daria river supplying water to a large part of Central Asia. Lunch en route and departure towards the mountains of Zaamin.

Before climbing on the winding mountain roads, you will stop to see a huge water reservoir and enjoy a sublime landscape. Arrival in the Zaamin nature reserve and check-in in the tent camp.

You will then go explore the surroundings as well as the tracks of our race the next day. Evening concert with all participants and dinner on site. Night under the tent.

The next day will start early after breakfast. After the official opening ceremony of the Zaamin ultra-trail, the 2K, 10K, 21K and 50K races will be launched. The easy distance of 2K will not give too much difficulty for running enthusiasts. But from 10K, intended for beginners, the altitude will increase and you will not only observe landscapes of mountain peaks, but also extraordinary nature. This ultra-trail offers breathtaking views of the Turkestan and Malguzar plateaus known in the country.

After the presentation of your medals and the closing ceremony of the event, you will head to the city of Samarkand by bus. Your journey will mainly pass through agricultural areas and you will make a few stops to take photos.

The next two days of your adventure will be dedicated to discovering the mythical city of Samarkand located at the crossroads of the Silk Road. The historical part of this city includes several historical sites influenced by Islamic art from the East.

The great square of Registan, composed of three sublime sites, the mosque of Bibi Khanum, built in honor of the favorite woman of Timur (Tamerlane), and many others will be your main visits. At the end of the day, the tasting of Samarkand wine will close the day’s discoveries. Dinner in a restaurant and overnight at the hotel.

On this day of your adventure in Uzbekistan, you will see the monuments located around the city of Samarkand.

The necropolis of Shakhi Zinda, composed of more than twenty mausoleums, will allow you to contemplate a fine example of Timurid art. Afterwards, you will visit the Ulugbek Observatory where a large astronomy center was founded in the 15th century by the grandson of Timur.

After some interesting visits and lunch in a traditional restaurant, you will have a free afternoon to walk through the alleys of the old town. In the evening, you will have dinner at a local house and enjoy a folklore show of song and music. Night at the hotel.

You will be transferred in the morning to Samarkand International Airport to take the return flight. We wish you an excellent trip!
